I went to CD-R king today (which btw has the grouchiest sales attendants) looking for CD flaps. CD flaps are what I call those small envelopes or plastic inserts that serve as individual casings for your regular CDs. I’m pretty sure they have a proper name, I just don’t know what the official industry term is. So I asked the grouchy salesperson if they had any, and her answer almost made me laugh. In retrospect, I should have laughed right to her face, seeing as how unpleasant she was.

Here’s how the short conversation went:

ME: Miss, meron ba kayong CD flaps?

(stupid bitch ignores me)

ME: MISS! Meron ba kayong CD flaps?

LADY: Ano???

ME: CD flaps.

LADY: Ano yon? Yung diskette?

===========================

Howmygazh! CD flap. Hindi FLAPY diskette.
